Design a Shaker-style Table
Objective: You are going to design a custom Shaker Style table using Google Sketchup.
Grading Rubric (8 steps, each requirement worth 50 points)

1. Take a moment and research Shaker Furniture. The MET, one of the most prestigious art museums in the world has an online exhibit on Shaker Furniture. Remember to copy and paste the link of your inspiration into Canvas for a grade. You are going to replicate a piece you find online using Google Sketchup (Examples of Shaker Style Furniture: https://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/shak/hd_shak.htm (Links to an external site.))
2. The table must have minimum 3 legs, 1 or more aprons, and a table top. Your table may be any shape you desire.
3. You must edit your design to have chamfered or rounded table tops. They may be on the top or bottom of your table top. Tutorial Videos Below:

6. Use the dimension tool to properly show the measurements of all parts of the table. (Step 10 of the Instructables tutorial).

8. Change the texture and/or color of your table. (Example: if you want a wood table, make it the type of wood you would like. If you want it painted, paint it any other color than gray).
*Once you can completed your drawing, save your .skp file with your name in the file name and submit on Canvas!
