Greeting Card Design
1. Click on Microsoft Publisher (most likely in the courseware folder.)
2. When the program opens, click on "More Blank Page Sizes"
3. Scroll down and select the "Greeting Cards" folder.
4. Select either "1/2 Letter Side Fold 5.5 x 8.5" or "1/2 Letter Top Fold 8.5 x 5.5". (This means we are using letter size paper (11 x 8.5) and folding it in half. This paper fits in our printer. If you select some other size, we cannot print it out correctly.
5. When prompted to automatically insert pages, click YES!
6. Search the web, or take/create your own awesome picture for the art on page one
7. Page two should be intentionally left BLANK!
8. Type a meaningful and/or funny statement on page 3. Leave room for you to write your own note and sign.
9. On page 4 in size 11 font, type "This greeting card was designed by YOUR NAME"
10. Save your work. Upload your publisher file to your Google Drive.
11. Turn your greeting card in on Google Classroom. We will print your card out on card stock on the color printer. Thanks
