Instructions: Learn about something NEW that you wouldn't learn in school ! Do not turn in a report on a topic you already are knowledgeable about.
1A. Read an article about technology (anything man-made). Do not select something off of Wikipedia or any other online encyclopedia. Pick something you are interested in. OR
1B. Watch an educational YouTube video that is longer than 20 minutes. (how to change spark plugs, or how to fix something, a new woodworking technique, etc.)
DO NOT WRITE ABOUT HOW TO BEAT A VIDEO GAME or anything that is illegal in any part of the USA!
2. Write a 5-paragraph paper (Intro, 3 body paragraphs, conclusion) with over 200 words on what you learned by reading this article. Pick something unique. (i.e. Most of America knows about the iPhone X)
*Copying and pasting part or all of the article is plagiarism and you will recieve no credit and will not be allowed to make-up your work.
3. Submit your typed paper in Google Classroom, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or printed on paper with the link of the article or video at the end of the report.
Make sure you include the internet address of the current event article in your paper. Learn how to correctly cite this in your paper here.
-10% for not including web address of article.
-10% for not writing in paragraph format.
-10% for each week the assignment is late.
