Directions: Download different fruits and vegetables and create your own Mr. Potatohead/Veggie-Man. Flatten image when done and turn in to Google Classroom in .jpeg format.
Steps
1. Download pictures of fruits and vegetable pictures you want to use off Google or Bing. (preferably download .jpg files)
2. In Photoshop, open all pictures. (File, Open)
3. Click Image, Image Size and resize photos appropriately. Make sure both pictures are at 100%.
4. Use the Marquee Tool to select vegetables to cut and paste.
5. Use Edit, Copy, then Edit-Paste to paste vegetables over each other item.
6. Use the magic wand tool and the delete button to erase any unwanted areas around your fruit or vegetable.
7. Type your name somewhere on your art using the "T" button.
8. Flatten Image (Layer, flatten image)
9. Save as .jpeg and turn in to Google Classroom.

How to resize an image in Photoshop- Right click on the blue grey bar above an open image in Photoshop. Select "image size". I find it easier to change the pixels to percent when re-sizing. Remember if you want the image to be bigger, you must put in a percent greater than 100%. To get a half sized image, type in 50%
How to flatten an image into one layer- Click on the Layer pull-down menu at the top, and select flatten image near the bottom of the list. This will get rid of all the layers of your project. This then allows you to save the picture as a regular picture and not a photoshop document.
