Hello, My name is Dr. Nick Cornwell, and I am a career educator. I have been a technology, engineering, and integrative STEM teacher for almost two decades.
I am certified to teach SIX content areas (technology education, business, family and consumer sciences, 6-8 math, health & PE, and social studies).
I earned my Ph.D. researching 21st-century learning using integrative STEM methodology in technology and engineering classrooms.
I am an education consultant, influencer, researcher, and virtual curriculum creator. If you have questions or comments, click the contact me button at the top of this page.
The links above explain more about me and the topics/projects I taught in my classes.
I previously taught Technology Education classes in grades 6-12 in Virginia. I taught Production Systems, Materials and Processes Technology, and Construction Technology at the high school level in a traditional woodworking lab. At the middle school level, I taught Intro to Technology (6th grade), Technology Systems (7th grade), Inventions and Innovations (8th grade) and STEM Class (7th and 8th graders).
The picture to the left is me standing on a student's tower project. On average, only one student per school year has built a tower so strong that I could stand on it!
