Grading Rubric (1000 points) Parts 1-3 completed by student 1. (300 points)Take at least 2 photos of your completed project (one must have you in the photo) (150 points each photo) 2. (100 points) In two sentences, tell me how many hours you spent on this project, and what the hardest part of the project was. 3. (100 points) Tell me, in one complete sentence, what numeric grade you deserve for your project, and why. (ex. I deserve 87 B because I have gaps in my glue up and my stain has blotting because I did not clean the glue off correctly) Parts 4-8 completed by teacher 4. (100 points) Effort/Participation/Completion- 10+ hours of work done on project and the sign is COMPLETED! 5. (100 points) One of the five choices are selected. 6. (100 points) Craftsmanship/Aesthetics- Student put maximum effort into project. No detail is left undone. No sloppiness present. Sign could easily be sold for monetary compensation. 7. (100 points) Use of proper tools and materials/clean-up/safety- Student properly used and cared for all tools and materials during the process of this project. 8. (100 points)- Creativity- Student takes creative risks, uses multiple techniques, creates a unique, detailed, and interesting product.
