Mousetrap Competition Rules
1. The mousetrap must start on the vehicle. It does not have to finish on the vehicle (much like a space ship shedding fuel containers when launching in space)
2. Setting off of the mousetrap is what starts the vehicle. You may not push, throw, pull or kick your vehicle to start.
3. *Your vehicle only has to work once. (provided you filmed it working, I will give you credit if you have proof of your working vehicle)
4. If you just make a vehicle and do not do the paper work or testing, your grade is a 50 F. If you make a vehicle that does not work and you do all the paper work, you earn a 95 A. If your vehicle goes more than 10 feet, you will earn over a 100 A.
5. You do not have to have wheels. Think outside the box! You could make a sled. Your vehicle could fly. Endless possibilities!
6. Using wooden wheels = -100 points.
7. If you break the mousetrap and need a replacement = -100 points
